Plant-Based Protein Berry Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
1 tablespoon or scoop of plant-based protein powder (vanilla or berry flavour)
1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen, such as blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries)
1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter)
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
Ice cubes (optional, for thickness)
Instructions:
In a blender, combine almond milk and plant-based protein powder. Blend briefly to mix.
Add the mixed berries, banana, almond butter, chia seeds (if using), and maple syrup (if desired).
Blend on high until all ingredients are well combined and smooth. Add ice cubes if a thicker consistency is desired, and blend again until smooth.
Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup or agave.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
